Your textbook uses the word culture frequently. What is that? How is it and communication related?

Culture is the way in which we live. It is how we interact, how we share traditions, and how we create new ones. Culture is people. People are what make it and keep making it everyday. It is what makes us different to eachother and at the same time alike. Everyone has a culture no matter who they are and they can always fall back on that. Communication and culture go together because cultures intercommunicate all the time. Each culture in the world is also very different and communication therefore is also different depending on the culture in which you are interacting. Culture is the basis for how and why we communicate the way we do and it shows us that in some way weare all connected.
